A Consultant Physician Gastroenterologist/Hepatologist is the 4th Medical Director of the Federal Medical Centre, Jalingo. Born on 15 September 1969 in Taraba State, she earned her MBBS from the University of Maiduguri in 1995 and completed her residency at the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital, becoming a Consultant Gastroenterologist and Fellow of the National Postgraduate Medical College in 2008. Dr. Aisha has enhanced her expertise with international certifications in global health, leadership, and program management from institutions including the University of Liverpool and the University of Washington.

Her distinguished career spans decades of clinical service and leadership roles at FMC Jalingo, where she has served as Head of Internal Medicine, Deputy Head of Clinical Services, and Chairperson of key committees including the Anti-Corruption and Transparency Unit, Quality Assurance, and the COVID-19 Task Force. She has led major public health initiatives in Taraba State, such as the State Emergency Operations Center for disease outbreaks.
