The Friends of the Hospital Association FMC Jalingo is a charitable and philanthropic organization dedicated to promoting the care of the sick and assisting the less privileged.
To raise funds from the General Public through donations, grants, endowment and gifts for the support of the less privileged.
To arrange for blood for patients who do not have relatives to donate for them as well as pay for grouping and cross matching.
Provide drugs, treatment and other equipment such as wheel chairs, crutches etc for patient who cannot afford it.
Assist in campaigns and enlightenment on health related matters.
To help provide for patients who on treatment encounter financial distress with none to help.
To provide feeding, clothing and temporary accommodation to needy patients on treatment
To help the hospital attain its statutory role and function in healthcare delivery as a tertiary institution.
To mobilize resources, partnerships, and goodwill from individuals, organizations, and corporate bodies.
All members of the General Public not below age 18 years of age, capable of paying enrollment and annual subscription fees and not convicted of a criminal offence by a competent court of law.
Corporate bodies, Organizations, clubs, foundations, companies with similar objectives to the Association.
Life membership may be conferred on persons of high standing in the community who make outstanding contributions towards the realization of the Associations objectives.
