Goals:

1. To assist in the pursuit of the hospital's vision in areas of disease control through effective surveillance and policy development to improve case management of diseases.

2. Developing and inculcating research culture.

3. Establish and maintain collaboration with partners in disease prevention and control.

4. Promoting a healthy and safe hospital environment/workplace.

5. Preparing for and responding to public health emergencies.
